press release

With its Pro-Mix Metal, Pro-Mix Concrete and Pro-Mix Wood, Bosch will in future be offering professional tradespeople accessory sets that cover virtually all drilling and screwdriving applications. In accordance with their naming, these 35-piece sets consist either of the six most common metal, concrete or wood drill bits, plus three nutsetters, two double-ended bits, two bit holders and 22 screwdriver bits. With only one set, tradespeople therefore have the right accessories at hand for virtually every application – even if they have to unexpectedly switch from one jobsite to another or if they have to do an unforeseen job at the work location. Moreover, there is no need to gather several smaller sets or individual drill and screwdriver bits when preparing for work, which eliminates the risk of forgetting an important accessory. This can save precious work time.

Color coding makes it easier to select the right screwdriver bit
All of the sets are clearly arranged. The screwdriver bits also have color coding. This helps the user to find the right bit for the relevant application at a glance. The range comprises PH, PZ, slotted, hex and Security Torx screwdriver bits.

The metal, concrete and wood drill bits are tailored to working on the relevant material with a distinctive variety of features. For example, the concrete drill bits have an exceptionally robust carbide tip with two cutting edges and two U-shaped flutes through which the drilling dust is quickly removed from the bore hole.

The Pro-Mix Metal, Pro-Mix Concrete and Pro-Mix Wood accessory sets will be available at specialist retail outlets from May 2014 onwards each at the recommended retail price of 31.50 euros plus VAT.
