press release

Following the successful launch of our driver and workshop portal in Germany, the coming months will see us expand our Drivelog offering to include other European markets," says Florian Bankoley, Managing Director of Mobility Media GmbH, Berlin. The start-up-company was founded in 2011 as a joint venture by Bosch and the social media experts from trommsdorff + drüner GmbH. Drivelog, developed by Mobility Media, is the first online platform to include mobility-related services and information in one place for drivers and car workshops. Today, more than 55,000 drivers are registered Drivelog users, and across Germany, over 3000 workshop partners use the online portal. What's more, Drivelog has been the official partner of the ADAC since July this year.

Until now, Bosch held an 80% stake in Mobility Media GmbH. However, once the initial start-up and development phase was completed, trommsdorff + drüner took a step back from the joint venture and Bosch acquired a 100% stake in Mobility Media GmbH. By expanding its international horizons in terms of European markets, Mobility Media is embarking on the next growth phase with the Drivelog portal.

The free online portal, at www.drivelog.de, features a whole host of information and services for drivers and their vehicles, such as a digital service log and a cost monitoring function. Drivelog can also provide details of the nearest car workshop and the cheapest gas station, as well as eCommerce offers. The Drivelog package for workshops has a modular structure. In addition to an attractive company profile, workshops can also easily upload customer offers or special services to Drivelog, or maintain existing customer information, with just a few clicks. The free basic partnership allows workshops to add extra services as part of a premium partnership.
