Munich – As the market leader in conference solutions with over 60 years of experience, Bosch Security Systems is extending its conference portfolio with DCN webcasting software, a complete solution for streaming both live and archived meetings to audiences anywhere in the world. This makes Bosch a true one-stop-shop for state-of-the-art conference applications.

From every location where internet access is available, this software application allows people to follow an event using a standard web browser on their computer, tablet or smartphone. Viewers are able to see and hear the live or archived meeting, as well as access related data, such as agenda points, speakers’ names, voting results, and even documents that are presented during the meeting. Furthermore, if desired, the system operator can even involve them in the meeting with real-time surveys and opinion polling. For extra convenience, the social media integration feature means that with just one click viewers can share any relevant or important information with their network.

The DCN webcasting solution offers full HD support for crisp, clear video images, and makes use of local buffering so no meeting data is lost, even if the internet connection is down. As an added option, meetings can be password protected ensuring only authorized viewers can watch.

“Bosch not only provides the technology for streaming meetings, but also delivers the cloud service necessary to host these webcasts,” explains Murat Keskinkilinc, Product Marketing Manager Conference Systems at Bosch Security Systems. “This means our customers benefit from a comprehensive solution for streaming meetings to their audiences, keeping them informed and involved, and at the same time can save costs by archiving the meetings and eliminating the need for transcription.”

DCN webcasting from Bosch Security Systems is specifically aimed at governmental organizations, such as city and regional councils, as well as for the corporate market, including stakeholder meetings. It will be available in a phased roll-out for the EMEA market, starting in the second quarter of 2013.
