Stuttgart/Reutlingen, Germany – Over 100 sessions in nine countries attended by around 4,000 dealers is the balance sheet of the Bosch eBike Systems training tour for the 2013 model year drive system. The final session was held on March 11 in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. "Our European dealers are now up to date and familiar with every detail of our current drive system," said Ulrich Lippmann, Service Manager, Bosch eBike Systems. "So the new eBike season can now get under way."

Innovations, range and diagnosis are the main points of interest
Five Bosch eBike Systems technical advisers toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Denmark from October 2012 to March 2013. In over 100 one-day training sessions the Bosch specialists familiarized dealers in detail with the latest Bosch eBike system and its components. They paid special attention to the innovations of the 2013 model year, such as the Intuvia on-board computer and its control unit, the PowerPack 400 battery and the comfortable pushing aid facility. They also dealt in the training sessions with diagnosis and troubleshooting (fault tracing and correction).

"With over 4,000 participants this training tour is the largest we have ever undertaken," Lippmann said. "That naturally reflects the overall development of Bosch eBike Systems. Over 50 bicycle brands now use our systems." In addition to the Bosch eBike experts and dealers who stock eBikes with Bosch drive systems or use diagnostic equipment, bicycle manufacturers can also book Bosch eBike Systems training sessions for their dealers.
