press release

Stuttgart/Reutlingen, Germany – Bosch eBike Systems is expanding its service structures with the aid of Nanne Faas and Markus Schleszies. The Reutlingen-based e-bike specialist’s two new colleagues contribute inter alia many years of technical service experience with well-known e-bike and bicycle manufacturers and know their way around bicycle mechanics extremely well. Markus Schleszies has been Bosch eBike Systems’ expert advisor to dealers in Austria and Switzerland since October 1, with Nanne Faas joining the team as specialist advisor to dealers in the Netherlands on February 1. Each supports e-bike dealers in his region by organising training courses and sessions and by providing valuable advice on maintenance, service and sales. They plan to intensify personal contacts with the trade. "Our expert advisors perform for us a very important function in addition to their service role. They are the face we present to the trade and at the same time our ear to the market," says Ulrich Lippmann, service manager at Bosch eBike Systems. "The feedback they receive from dealers is very valuable and flows back into our business."

New service partners in Benelux and Italy
In 2013 Bosch eBike Systems also plans to focus on expanding its network of service partners. Since June 2012 Fuchs-Movesa has been in charge of after sales service for the Swiss e-bike trade. This year it will be joined by a further service partner in Benelux. Bosch eBike Systems service partners will be entrusted with a wide range of services such as manning the technical hotline, dealing with guarantee claims and handling battery returns. The trade will benefit from swift enquiry processing in the local language and from simplified processes.

The Magura hotline was reinforced from February 1, 2013 with the appointment of an Italian-speaking employee and now offers customers in Italy optimal support in their own language.
