The “Compact Generation” from Bosch is expanding: the latest members of this especially handy and compact family of DIY tools are the PWS 700-115, PWS 750-115 and PWS 850-125 angle grinders in the “Universal” class. They have a smaller grip circumference than the predecessor models and are therefore easier and more comfortable to operate. Another advantage is the low weight of 1.7 to 1.8 kilograms.

All-rounder, stage winner and top athlete
With the three models, Bosch offers do-it-yourselfers the right tool for every application: the lightweight and handy all-rounder PWS 700-115 with its power of 700 watts is suitable for smaller to medium applications such as cutting metal. The PWS 750-115 offers 750 watts, which makes it also suitable for tougher grinding work or for cutting thicker metal profiles. The PWS 850-125 is the most powerful tool with 850 watts and also has an antivibration handle. This makes it possible to easily and comfortably carry out more demanding projects such as grinding larger surfaces, removing rust from metals or cutting thicker metal plates.

The angle grinders are equipped with the new dust protection system from Bosch: it protects the ball bearing against dirt and increases the lifetime of the tools. As with the predecessor models, the protective guard can be adjusted without the need for a wrench. Moreover, the angle grinders are equipped with a spindle lock and robust, powerful motors.

The PWS 700-115, PWS 750-115 and PWS 850-125 angle grinders will be available at retail outlets from September 2013 onwards at recommended retail prices of 49.99 euros, 59.99 euros and 79.99 euros. All models are supplied in a robust tool case.
