Comfortable cordless mower for smaller gardens: The Rotak 32 LI from Bosch with "Ergoflex System"

Smaller gardens are the rule rather than the exception in urban areas. Bosch is reacting to the demand for compact but powerful solutions for these lawn sizes by launching the two cordless mowers Rotak 32 LI and Rotak 32 LI High Power. These cordless mowers have a battery with 1.3 and 2.6 ampere hours respectively and are designed for a lawned area of 150 and 300 square meters respectively. Both have a width of cut of 32 centimeters, can hold up to 31 liters of grass clippings in their grass box and have a very low weight of about ten kilograms. In terms of appearance, the two mowers differ in one detail of their modern design: the grill on the Rotak 32 LI is black, while on the High Power model it is shiny silver.

As with all cordless lawnmowers in the Rotak series, the new models are also equipped with the “Ergoflex System” that was launched in 2011 and is certified by Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR) e.V., a German organization which promotes back health. It relieves strain on muscles, tendons and joints, reduces user fatigue and ensures a relaxed lawnmowing experience. The unique grass combs have also been kept. They guide the blades of grass directly to the mower’s blade, therefore ensuring a clean cut right up to the edges of walls or flowerbeds.

New product features for even greater convenience
A new feature is the safety key, which works like the key in a car. You simply insert the key into the lock, turn it, and then the mowers can be started. In addition to this, the lithium-ion batteries are now inserted from the front instead of from above. This makes it quicker and easier to change them. The features of the cordless mowers are completed by the central height-of-cut adjustment. It has three settings – 30, 45 and 60 millimeters – and is easy to operate.

The Rotak 32 LI and Rotak 32 LI High Power models will be available at retail outlets from January 2013 onwards at the recommended retail price of 359.99 and 399.99 euros respectively including VAT.
