Bosch’s range now includes the first mobile work bench for do-it-yourselfers – the PWB 600. It is assembled in seconds in only three steps: put your foot on the foot bracket, pull the bench up and fold open the work surface. The PWB 600 automatically engages to provide a secure and stable stance.

Maximum flexibility when processing workpieces
The bamboo tabletop area is 680 x 550 millimeters, robust, water-repellent and therefore durable. It is split into two parts to enable workpieces to be clamped in the middle. Even conically tapered shapes can be securely fixed because the tabletop is brought into position using two smooth-running cranks that can be adjusted independently of each other. The maximum clamping depth is 34 millimeters, and the maximum clamping width is 525 millimeters. The work bench also includes four clamping jaws. These can be flexibly positioned on the tabletop by inserting them into the recesses provided. This enables you to fix even round or awkwardly shaped workpieces quickly and easily. Moreover, the clamping jaws are slanted on the side to enable you to work close to edges, for example when sanding. Work materials such as sanding paper can be kept within reach at all times by storing them in the integrated storage compartment on the frame.

Easy transport, space-saving storage
Due to its unique folding mechanism, the PWB 600 is dismantled as quickly as it was assembled. It weighs only 11.6 kilograms due to its aluminum frame and is only nine centimeters deep when folded together. This enables especially easy transport and space-saving storage of the work bench.

The PWB 600 work bench will be available from June 2012 onwards at retail outlets for 149.99 euros including VAT. It comes complete with four clamping jaws.
