press release

With its L-Boxx, Bosch offers professional tradesmen a mobile transport and storage system. It has become increasingly popular since its market launch, with more than 1.5 million units already sold. Now Bosch is expanding the existing system to include a model with integrated slide compartments: the LS-Boxx. Tried-and-tested features, such as the possibility to click together multiple boxes and then carry them in a stack, have been retained. The special advantage of the LS-Boxx is that it enables you to remove small items, such as consumables or accessories, from the integrated slide compartments even when the boxes are connected to each other – simply by pulling the compartments forward. The professional therefore has easy, instant access to everything and can begin work immediately.

Find and remove small items and accessories quickly and easily
The slide compartments consist of one drawer and two so-called I-Boxxes. They are fully fledged set cases which can be completely removed and transported separately. Pulling them out by their handle reveals their transparent lid, which is made of a robust, high-quality polycarbonate and provides a quick overview of the contents. Two different heights are available: 53 and 72 millimeters. Various inserts, which are called Insetboxxes, are available to divide the I-Boxx into different sections. Small items such as screws, fixings, washers or luster terminals can be clearly sorted into these sections. This saves you having to waste time looking for the right material.

The LS-Boxx is available in four versions:
· with a drawer and a low I-Boxx,
· with two low I-Boxxes,
· with two high I-Boxxes,
· with one low and one high I-Boxx.

Both the drawer and the I-Boxxes lock into guide rails, so they cannot fall out during transport. The upper body of the new LS-Boxx is the same as the one in the L-Boxx 136. It therefore holds all power tools and accessories that previously fitted in this version, for example cordless tools in the 14.4 and 18 volt class.

Easy and safe transport
The L-Boxx roller or the L-Boxx trolley can be used to conveniently transport your stack of clicked-together LS- and L-Boxxes in one go from your vehicle to the jobsite and back again. Both of these are available as accessories. The new LS-Boxxes can also be securely stored in vehicles because, like the L-Boxx, they fit the German TÜV-tested in-vehicle equipment system from Sortimo without the need for an adapter.
