Personnel change at Bosch Power Tools: Christof Ziegler appointed to executive management

Leinfelden – Effective March 1, 2012, Christof Ziegler (53) will be a new member of the executive management of the Bosch Power Tools division. He will be responsible for finance and administration and IT coordination. These duties had been performed by Boris Gleißner (50) since 2002.

Christof Ziegler is currently a member of the executive management of the Bosch Security Systems division where he is responsible for finance and administration and IT coordination. He read business studies in Stuttgart and joined the Bosch Group in 1989. After performing various managerial functions in the then Bosch Communication Technology division, including the business management of the Safety Technology unit, he assumed his current position in 2002.

Boris Gleißner will move to the Bosch Thermotechnology division on March 1, 2012, where he will be the executive management member responsible for finance and administration.

The Power Tools Division of the Bosch Group is one of the world’s leading providers for power tools, power tool accessories and measuring tools. In 2015, its roughly 20,000 associates generated sales of 4.5 billion euros, about 85 percent of which outside of Germany.
