press release

The new “Expert” circular saw blades from Bosch stand for precise and clean cuts. The broad range comprises circular saw blades for virtually any requirement and application.

Saw blades for universal use in benchtop tools
The “Expert for Wood” and “Expert for Multi Material” circular saw blades are tailored for use with miter saws, sliding miter saws and table saws. They saw wood, composites, non-ferrous metals and plastics, and they excel by delivering exceptionally clean cuts that are only 2.4 millimeters thin. The “Razor Technology” teeth are ground to a razor sharp finish and provide rapid work progress with minimal effort. At the same time, the “Proteqtion” coating reduces the adhesion of residues such as resin or glue. It also cools the saw blade and protects it against corrosion.

Special saw blades for panel sizing and table saws
The “Expert for Wood” and “Expert for Laminated Panel” circular saw blades are specialists for sawing wood and composites with panel sizing or table saws. They offer high cut quality over the entire lifetime. At the same time, the exceptionally dense “Dura Technology” carbide blend, which is tailored to the properties of each material, reduces wear on the sawing teeth.

The saw blade’s body is made of steel in hardness class HRC 46. Laser-cut expansion slots in the blade body ensure a high level of stability. A further advantage is the tensioning ring, which increases rigidity and prevents the heat generated during sawing from warping the saw blade.

The “Expert” circular saw blades from Bosch will be available at specialist retail outlets from January 2012 onwards. The recommended retail prices are between 85 euros for saw blades with 210 millimeter diameter and 171 euros for saw blades with 350 millimeter diameter, each excluding VAT.
