The Bosch SDS max-8X four-cutter hammer drill is currently proving its worth in railway construction work in the university town of Halle (Saale). As part of a major multi-stage project, the tram is being upgraded to a city railway system. Every three to five minutes, a tram drives through the construction site. “Everything needs to be done professionally, and at the same time, as fast as possible,” explains Construction Manager Christoph Schmoranzer. For him, railway work is teamwork. This includes the GBH 8-45 DV Professional rotary hammer and the SDS max-8X hammer drill.
