Balancing Energy Network at the Bosch plant in Eisenach, Germany

The Bosch Balancing Energy Network software solution uses AI to control and optimize energy flows in manufacturing operations. In addition to boosting energy efficiency, it allows power from renewable energy sources to be put to the best use, enabling flexible operating schedules to be drawn up. The solution is used, for example, at the Bosch plant in Eisenach. The plant has greatly expanded its own energy generation. Photovoltaic systems now cover around 15 percent of total energy requirements.
