Since 1999, Bosch has been using the services of retired former associates. Known as senior experts, they work for a limited period on projects or in a consultative capacity. All told, the 1,600 pensioners currently in the expert pool make more than 40,000 years of expertise available for the supplier of technology and services. The photo, taken in Germany, shows 70-year-old Hans-Peter Rauschert (left), a senior expert for quality assurance. Together with his colleagues Mark Lohrmann (center) and Ladan Fard-Samiei (right), he is analyzing the workflows at a test bench for electric motors.
