Since 1999, Bosch has been using the services of retired former associates. Known as senior experts, they work for a limited period on projects or in a consultative capacity. All told, the 1,600 pensioners currently in the expert pool make more than 40,000 years of expertise available for the supplier of technology and services. As a senior expert for hydraulics, he is helping his colleagues Daniel Grus (left) and Alexandra Künzel (center) prepare a bid for stage technology.
