DALLAS, November 2, 2026 – Bosch Home Comfort Group is redefining residential HVAC performance with the launch of the YORK® YD heat pump portfolio. Unlike traditional HVAC offerings that reserve variable-speed technology for premium systems, the YD lineup integrates fully modulating inverter technology across every tier, expanding access to advanced comfort and energy savings. Available in configurations ranging from 15.2 SEER2/8.5 HSPF2 to 20 SEER2/10 HSPF2, including cold-climate models that maintain heating performance in temperatures as low as –13°F, the portfolio gives contractors a simplified way to match the right solution to a wide range of applications, budgets and climate conditions.

Designed as a completely integrated system, each heat pump pairs with the new YORK® JD series of air handlers, eliminating the guesswork of indoor and outdoor equipment pairing, and helping optimize system performance. On-board intelligence and diagnostics further streamline commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Most homeowners want the comfort and efficiency of variable-speed technology, but historically those benefits were limited to premium systems,

Piero Caballero, senior product manager, Bosch Home Comfort Group

“With the new YD portfolio, contractors no longer have to reserve fully modulating inverter technology for premium installations. By offering factory-matched systems across a range of efficiency levels, we are making it easier to specify, install and support systems that meet a wide range of homeowner needs, budgets and climate requirements.”

Every heat pump in the YORK® YD series is equipped with:

  • A fully modulating inverter compressor to deliver precise, energy efficient outputs in real-time while reducing on-off cycling and associated mechanical stress.
  • Dual-fuel compatibility, providing contractors with greater flexibility to address regional climate needs and homeowner preferences.
  • Ultra-low-noise fan blades, sound isolating mounts and silent blade technology to maintain sound levels as low as 56 dBA.
  • Performance-engineered construction, including stainless steel heat exchangers, durable powder-coat finishes and high-performance blower and fan designs.
  • Wireless connectivity via the GoTemp Pro mobile app, providing contractors with instant access to product details, installation and maintenance resources.

The YD series is a fully communicating system when paired with the YORK® Smart Home Control SHC350 Thermostat. Using the new GoTemp Home app – launched this summer via the Apple App Store and Google Play – homeowners can enhance energy savings and maximize comfort.

In addition to the YORK® YD series, Bosch has also launched high-efficiency heat pump portfolios under the Coleman®, Champion®, Luxaire® and Fraser-Johnson® product names. Each system is backed by a 10-year limited warranty. For more information visit, https://york.bosch-hcgroup.com/residential-equipment/heating-and-cooling/split-system-heat-pumps.
