WATERTOWN, MASS. – Bosch Home Comfort, a leading source of high-quality heating, cooling and hot water systems, is giving homeowners and renters a simple way to improve their drinking water straight from the tap with its new Bosch Water Filtration Series.

"Our goal with the Water Filtration Series is to provide a reliable choice for families looking to manage the quality and taste of their daily drinking water," said Victoria Otto, product manager at Bosch Home Comfort. "By offering both direct-connect and reverse osmosis options, we are making independently certified water filtration straightforward to install for both homeowners and renters."

Certified to NSF/ANSI standards

Drinking water safety is top of mind for many consumers. In a recent study by PEW Research Center, 70% of respondents expressed concerns about exposure to harmful chemicals in food and drinking water. The Bosch Water Filtration Series is independently certified against National Sanitation Foundation / American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) standards to reduce chlorine, total polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs), lead, cysts, mercury, pharmaceuticals, and microplastics.

Options for different plumbing setups, layouts and budgets

The series includes two models designed for different plumbing configurations and filtration needs, space configurations, and price points:

  • Bosch Water Filtration 1000 (WF1000) is a direct-connect system that links to an existing kitchen faucet without drilling or structural modifications. It is independently certified against NSF/ANSI standards to reduce 28 substances, including lead, total PFAS, cysts, microplastics, and BPA. A single cartridge processes up to 750 gallons of water, replacing over 5,600 single-use plastic bottles*, while maintaining a continuous flow rate.
  • Bosch Water Filtration 4000 (WF4000) is a four-stage reverse osmosis (RO) system that filters water down to 1/10,000 of a micron, significantly reducing total dissolved solids (TDS) and harmful contaminants. Certified against NSF/ANSI standards, it reduces 81 substances, including 99 percent of lead and cysts, and over 95 percent of PFOS/PFOA, TDS, and organic chemicals. The unit operates without electricity, uses a 3.2-gallon storage tank to maintain water pressure, and dispenses water through a brushed nickel faucet.
