With the EasyHammer 12V from Bosch, the name says it all: Using this multi-talented tool, even DIY beginners can very easily drill holes in various materials, including concrete, and tighten or loosen screws. This is possible due to its innovative operating concept with a single sliding switch centrally in the viewing area on top of the tool: Selecting the hammer symbol on the right activates the pneumatic hammer mechanism. The EasyHammer 12V can then drill holes up to 10 millimeters in diameter in concrete. In the middle position the EasyHammer 12V screws and drills holes in materials such as wood, metal, and tiles. If, on the other hand, you want to loosen screws, simply slide the switch to the left to the backwards arrow. The user can switch intuitively from one application to another and only needs one tool for hammering, drilling and screwdriving. The 3-in-1 work mode switch also prevents problems such as an incorrectly selected rotation direction. Pressing the acceleration switch automatically regulates the speed of the EasyHammer 12V: The harder this switch is pressed, the faster the tool can screw or drill.

One for all – and all for one

Anyone who has an EasyHammer 12V at home can perform common tasks such as hanging lamps and assembling a shelf or furniture by changing from drills to screwdriver bits instead of changing from one tool to another. This is possible in just a few seconds and without any adapters thanks to the SDS system drill chuck. The accessory is simply placed and locked into the holder. All usually available accessories with a hexagonal shaft (HEX) can be used as well as SDS quick accessories. In the items included, Bosch supplies accessories for the most common drilling and screwdriving applications. This means that DIYers can rely on the right accessories when purchasing the tool and get started straight away. If you need additional concrete drills, you can use the new HEX-5 concrete drill set containing 5 drills in diameters of 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 millimeters.

With its 360° LED light ring integrated in the drill chuck, the EasyHammer 12V illuminates every workplace without annoying shadows and makes working easier even in poor lighting conditions. Once the work has been done, the EasyHammer 12V can simply be recharged via a USB cable. The fastest way to do this is using the optionally available quick charger USB-C® Fast Power Supply 27W: In a good hour, the tool is ready for use again.

The EasyHammer 12V and the HEX-5 concrete drill set will be available from June. All stated prices are recommended retail prices including VAT.
