Bosch showcases vertical packaging solutions for Latin American food companies

Complete system solutions supplied locally

  • Vertical packaging solutions for coffee and chips
  • From entry-level solutions to high-speed systems – all from a single source
  • Local service support for Latin American market

Bogotá, Colombia – At the Andina Pack trade show in Bogota, Bosch Packaging Technology, a leading supplier of processing and packaging solutions, will highlight its vertical packaging solutions designed to enable manufacturers achieve continuous high-quality production, differentiate products from competition and increase sales. This year’s exhibits are specifically tailored for the needs of manufacturers looking to take the first steps in automation, or elevate their offerings to the next level. There will be live demonstrations of the high-speed vertical bagger, SVE 2520, for coffee and the Woodman P3c continuous motion bagmaker for chips. Bosch accompanies customers every step of the way, offering entry-level machines all the way to complete packaging systems, comprehensive training, and full after-sales service, meeting the need for a regional local single-source solution supplier in Latin America.

High-speed vertical bagger with superior sealing

At Andina Pack Bosch will showcase an upgraded version of its SVE 2520 high-speed continuous motion vertical bagger with FVS 3061 auger filler unit. During the show, the SVE 2520 will be producing 100 grams ground coffee bags. Capable of producing up to 200 quality bags per minute with tight seals, the SVE 2520 helps Latin American manufacturers meet expanding production demands, while preserving products in humid environments. The bagger has been equipped with Allen Bradley controls to enable easy integration into production monitoring systems, and simplify training and maintenance. For production of wider bags up to 380 millimeters, Bosch is also offering a larger vertical bagger, the SVE 3620, enabling manufacturers to provide consumers with value packs of their favorite food products.

Snack food packaging at its finest

The Woodman P3c continuous motion snack food bagmaker will also be on display at Andina Pack. The P3c will have a Yamato Alpha-314S combination weigher mounted directly to its frame, and will be packaging plantain chips at 100 bags per minute. Woodman bagmakers, built in Decatur, GA, USA, are very popular around the world for packaging salted and savory snacks and many other dry, free-flowing foods. The P3c bagmaker features the Woodman-exclusive programmable stripping and a product clamp and settler, patented technology that ensures high-quality end seals free of product debris. The P3c’s frame is a sturdy, open design, allowing maximum access for maintenance and sanitation, and the electrical cabinets are recessed inside the frame, reducing the machine’s footprint. Changeovers are fast and simple with quick-change formers, easy-threading film path, and recipe-based programming in a color touchscreen HMI.

Benefit from a single-source solution provider on the ground

Bosch experts will be on hand throughout the show to explain the company’s full portfolio. Our experts at Andina Pack will also be available to discuss its after-sales services offerings ranging from standard services to complete service packages, which provide customers with on-the-ground Bosch support.

Providing local support

Besides its local manufacturing site, Bosch’s plant in São Paulo offers a local service team that supports the machines installed in Latin America. Our experts at Andina Pack will be available to discuss its after-sales services offerings ranging from standard services to complete service packages, which helps customers achieve maximum output and high overall equipment effectiveness. For example, Preventive Maintenance Kits and Service Level Agreements are part of the portfolio. Kliklok and Woodman machinery is supported by technicians from Decatur, GA, as well as local agents.

Show attendees are invited to meet with Bosch experts at Andina Pack, Corferias – Centro Internacional de Negocios y Exposiciones, Bogotá, Colombia, November 7 to 10, Hall 17, Booth 1906.
