Schwäbisch Gmünd/Germany – Especially in case of accidents, the damaged steering systems of the vehicles involved often need to be replaced. If damaged, hydraulic steering systems can get leaky. This can result in oil leakages or water entries. Both of these can cause massive consequential damages to the steering system – a safety-critical vehicle component.

Hydraulic steering systems for value-based repairs

Especially for value-based repairs on older and middle-aged vehicles, the Bosch eXchange range includes a wide range of hydraulic steering systems which has now significantly been expanded by 43 additional part numbers. The newly added, professionally remanufactured steering systems for workshop purposes are available with immediate effect for Citroën, Dacia, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Škoda, Volvo and VW vehicles.

Increased vehicle coverage in Europe

With this range expansion, Bosch increases significant the market coverage of its range of hydraulic steering systems for the European vehicle stock. In future, the Bosch eXchange steering-systems range is meant to be expanded even further.

Increased sustainability paired with well-known Bosch quality

In comparison with the production of new parts, remanufacturing them allows saving both raw materials and energy. This saves resources and thus protects the environment – despite well-known Bosch quality. The thoroughly and elaborately tested Bosch eXchange steering systems feature the same warranty as those ones of the new parts range.
