Tradespeople who need to cut various materials on the construction site and who, in doing so, rely on speed throughout the entire lifetime of the cutting disk, can now use the "Standard for Universal" from Bosch. The cutting disk is part of the Bosch for pro-fessionals diamond range and has been optimized with a view to making progress while working considerably faster. With the same lifetime, it now offers 30% more speed than the previous model. As an example, when used with the Bosch angle grinder GWS 26-230 LVI Professional, it can cut concrete slabs with a thickness of five centimeters over a length of 700 meters before the cutting disk needs to be changed. Compared to the previous model, when used in this way it can save around five hours – requiring only 10 hours instead of 15 for this length of material.

Unique design and optimized diamond quality

The basis for the optimized properties of the diamond cutting disk is the unique design of the cutting segments with their wedge-shaped, depressed recesses. This means re-duced friction between the cutting segment and the material. The result is a higher cutting speed. Diamond quality and granulation have also been optimized. This ena-bles faster progress while working over the entire lifetime of the cutting disk.

Universal use with angle grinders, table and petrol saws

The "Standard for Universal" diamond cutting disk with diameters from 115 to 450 mm is available for angle grinders as well as for table and petrol saws. Construction work-ers, garden designers and landscapers can use it to cut reinforced and non-reinforced concrete, bricks and lime sandstone quickly and reliably. The "Standard for Universal" diamond cutting disk is available now. Subject to change.
