Within the Bosch range, FILTER+ is a particularly powerful cabin filter. It does not only separate smallest particles and foul smells, but also bacteria and allergens. Bosch now significantly expanded the FILTER+ range from 30 to 40 part numbers. In Europe, some 150 million vehicles can now be equipped with these new filters. Every year, the complete Bosch range of cabin filters, consisting of standard filters, activated-carbon filters and the new FILTER+, is expanded by some 40 new types. Currently comprising some 500 part numbers, it includes a matching cabin filter for almost any type of vehicle and suitable for every need.

Separating allergens, bacteria, smells and smallest particles

More and more people are allergic to pollen. Causing symptoms such as itching, sneezing or hay fever, this allergy is particularly annoying in springtime. Driving a car while suffering allergic reactions can result in dangerous situations. After all, a sneezing driver is a blind driver – at least for a moment. Bosch FILTER+ protects allergy sufferers against flying pollen. Its multiple functional filter layers ensure clean air inside the cabin. An anti-allergy layer with a special molecular grid structure lastingly separates allergens and renders them harmless. In addition, this filter layer also eliminates bacteria. An activated-carbon layer neutralizes harmful and foul-smelling gases. And finally, the ultra-thin microfiber layer separates 99 percent of all particles with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers. Filtered in this manner by FILTER+, the air inside the cabin is both clean and free of smells.

For easy fitting, each filter comes with fitting instructions which can also be accessed online scanning the QR code on the packaging. In order to maintain high air quality inside the vehicle, car drivers should have their cabin filters replaced regularly and by high-performance products. Bosch recommends replacing cabin filter once a year or every 15,000 km.
