Leinfelden – Effective January 1, 2013, Henning von Boxberg (41) will be the president of the Bosch Power Tools Division. With the presidency, he has assumed responsibility for professional tools, accessories, strategy, development and communication. He will also continue to be responsible for DIY and garden tools, sales and marketing.

Henning von Boxberg read business studies in Berlin and New York, and joined the Bosch Group in 1998. After holding various positions in sales and marketing at Bosch Power Tools, including a spell in Great Britain, Mr. von Boxberg became Sales Director for Bosch Power Tools in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2005. He assumed responsibility for power tools sales in Europe, Near and Middle East, and Africa at the beginning of 2009. Since April 1, 2011, he has been a member of the executive management of Bosch Power Tools.

Dr. Stefan Hartung (46), who has held the presidency of the Bosch Power Tools Division since 2009, has been appointed a member of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH, effective 01.01.2013, where he will in future be responsible for the emerging Energy and Building Technology Division.

The Power Tools Division of the Bosch Group is one of the world’s leading providers for power tools, power tool accessories and measuring tools. In 2015, its roughly 20,000 associates generated sales of 4.5 billion euros, about 85 percent of which outside of Germany.
