press release

Two-wheeled vehicle repair shops and drivers of motor cycles, scooters, and quad bikes can find the right spark plugs for almost all common brands of two-wheeled vehicle and engine types in the current extended Bosch spark plug range. The spark plugs are manufactured according to the same quality criteria as original equipment. The preset electrode distances are suitable for most two-wheeled vehicle engine types, which means that the spark plugs can be installed directly without any manual adjustment of settings. Thanks to their robust design and high-quality materials, the spark plugs offer reliable performance over their entire service life.

For repair shop use, the Bosch two-wheeled vehicle spark plugs are packaged both individually and in packs of ten, and for DIY enthusiasts, the Bosch spark plugs are also available in practical blister packs. A new product catalog provides detailed information about the Bosch range for two-wheeled vehicle spark plugs.

Optimally Aligned: The Right Heat Range for Every Engine
Demands in terms of engine performance, consumption and exhaust behavior, quality and reliability are continuously increasing for two-wheeled vehicles, too – and this has an impact on the design and range of function of the spark plugs used. One particularly important factor is the heat range of the spark plug. Only a spark plug with a heat range that is optimally aligned with the two-wheeled vehicle engine is able to safely dissipate the heat that arises on combustion: this prevents carbon-fouling on the spark plugs and auto-ignition. Complete combustion of the fuel/air mixture also produces more efficient fuel consumption. For these reasons, Bosch developers perform extensive tests to determine the most suitable spark plug for every engine – and they can call on more than 110 years of experience in the development of ignition systems in the process.
