Munich – Bosch Security Systems sets new standards in terms of providing reliable and easy to operate security technology: With its new wireless IP Camera 200 Series, the company introduces a surveillance camera, which is specifically designed for small to medium applications. The latter could, for example, include retail stores, schools or offices. Recently launched on the global market, the new camera series is available directly from the distributors.

Quality for flexible use
While featuring a ready-to-use, complete network surveillance system, the wireless IP camera meets Bosch’s high product standards in terms of quality and performance. Thanks to its compact housing and wireless connectivity, it can easily be mounted in any indoor situation. Clear images at reduced bandwidth and minimal storage requirements are guaranteed by modern H.264 compression technology. The integrated wireless LAN supports IEEE 802.11b/g standards. Trouble-free interconnection with other devices is furthermore ensured, since the Wireless IP Camera 200 Series is ONVIF compliant.

Taking advantage
With this new camera series, Bosch is once again adding to its recently introduced Advantage Line: Since mid-2011, the company has been offering analogue and IP CCTV solutions that deliver high performance and reliability, and are easy to install, maintain and operate. As part of a continuous roll-out, further products from other areas, such as fire detection or intrusion, will also become part of the Advantage Line.
