· Product range described as a successful combination of functionality, structure and quality
The X-line accessory cases from Bosch Power Tools have won the Swiss Star Special Design Award. This is the second award in quick succession for the innovative sales packaging, which is used for power tool accessories. At the beginning of this month, the product range won the 2007 German Packaging Prize. Bosch offers different power tool accessory sets in this design, aimed at DIY enthusiasts.
The Bosch X-line range of carrying cases convinced the 15-strong jury with its design and robustness. The jury members described the carrying cases as "absolute high-tech products with optimum presentation of the contents by means of a distinctive X-shaped window". They also commented that the combination of functionality, structure and quality has been a complete success. Jury President Claude Müller said: "In this day and age, everybody wants genuine convenience packaging, which completely meets the demands of modern society and provides added value."
The attractively designed, sturdy and robust X-line set carrying cases are a real eye-catcher. They contain the accessories needed to perform small repairs around the house: drill bits for wood, metal, stone and screwdriver bits for all different types of screws. The compact arrangement of the tools makes them easy to manage and saves storage space.
