Award for the X-Line accessories carrying case:
Bosch Power Tools wins the 2007 German Packaging Prize

· Prize-winner in the "Sales Packaging" category

· Technical aspects, packaging design, economic efficiency and environmental compatibility taken into account during judging

The Bosch Power Tools Division is one of the winners of the 2007 German Packaging Prize. This award was presented to the X-Line accessories carrying case, an innovative sales packaging product for storing power tool accessories. Bosch offers in this X series different power tool accessory sets aimed at DIY enthusiasts.

The attractively designed, stable and robust accessory set carrying cases are a real eye-catcher and contain everything which DIY enthusiasts need for small repairs at home. The viewing window allows you to see the entire contents straight away: drill bits for wood, metal, plastic as well as screwdriver bits for all different types of screws. The compact arrangement of the tools makes them easy to manage and saves storage space. All parts of a carrying case are also listed on the back of it.

All facets of innovative packaging ideas are taken into account in the German Packaging Prize. These facets include technical aspects, packaging design, economic efficiency and environmental compatibility. An independent jury composed of experts selected the prize-winners according to binding assessment criteria. A total of 21 packaging products were awarded prizes in five categories ranging from sales packaging through to transport packaging. Bosch took part in the "Sales Packaging" category (classic primary packaging). The competition attracted a total of around 300 entries.
