Complete front and rear obstacle detection
New retrofit Parkpilot URF7 from Bosch
Easy retrofitting for all conventional vehicles

· State-of-the-art ultrasonic technology detects even the smallest obstacles

· Unobtrusive installation thanks to small sensor housing

· Original equipment quality from the market leader

Parking aids ensure stress-free, easy and secure parking without scratches and dents. The new Bosch Parkpilot URF7 now provides a new, technologically advanced generation of parking aids for retrofitting to all conventional vehicle models, in original equipment quality. State-of-the-art ultrasonic technology and securing the corners of vehicles enable the Parkpilot to detect all obstacles up to a distance of 1.5 meters. Even small obstacles like low planters are securely detected. The new Parkpilot is also suited for vehicles fitted with trailer coupling. The extra-small sensor housing can be painted in the color of the vehicle, which allows unobtrusive integration in the rear and front fenders. The Bosch Parkpilot is available for retrofitting in rear and front versions. Complete installation sets and detailed fitting instructions make it easy for workshops to install the new Bosch Parkpilot URF7.

The driver is provided with optical and acoustic warnings of obstacles
The sensors in the Bosch Parkpilot URF7 work according to the pulse echo principle. The system emits inaudible sound waves, which are reflected from the obstacles and the sensors capture the reflected sound. The Parkpilot then calculates the distance to the obstacle from the time required by the sound to get to and from the obstacle. Optical and acoustic signals and the light-emitting diode band inform the driver as to the approaching obstacle.

Retrofit systems in Bosch original equipment quality
Bosch is the worldwide leader in ultrasonic-based parking aids. The company has supplied parking aids as original equipment since 1994, which have enjoyed growing success since their introduction. However, many vehicles are only equipped with a rear parking aid as standard. For these vehicles, Bosch also offers a single solution for retrofitting into the front fender, which can be mounted independent of a rear system. All Bosch Parkpilot retrofit systems – be that rear or front systems – are in line with the functionality and quality of systems used as original equipment ex factory.
